AI With Tom

I run three businesses. I build the AI that runs them.

Everything I work out, I write down and give away. Free tools for business owners who aren't technical and haven't got time to become technical.

Free tools

Nothing gated, no email needed to read them. Every one of these I built for my own businesses first.

Most AI advice is written by people who don't run a business

That's the whole difference, and it shows up in everything.

The usual

  • Written by content farms, not builders
  • "10 prompts that will change your life"
  • Tools reviewed by people who used them once
  • Assumes you've got a team and a budget
  • Sells you the demo, not the version that breaks
  • Free until the bit you actually needed

This

  • I use all of it on my own businesses first
  • Real numbers — what it cost, what it saved
  • What broke, and how long it took to fix
  • Written for one person with no technical team
  • Tells you when not to automate something
  • Free, and stays free. Nothing gated

Who's writing this

I'm Tom. A year ago I'd never written a line of code.

I run a golf marketing company, hold equity in a golf subscription box business, and I'm building this. Three at once, no team, no budget to hire — which meant either doing less or finding leverage.

So I started building. AI agents that answer client enquiries at three in the morning. A second brain that knows all three businesses and works out which one I mean before I finish the sentence. Tools that scrape competitors and tell me what's actually working.

Most of it broke first. One automation of mine failed silently for months and nothing told me — I only found it because I went looking. That's the sort of thing nobody puts in a tutorial, and it's exactly the sort of thing you need to know.

I'm not an AI expert. I'm a business owner who got good at this because I had to, and I'm about eighteen months ahead of where you are. That turns out to be more useful than being an expert, because I still remember what it's like to not understand any of it.

Everything I work out, I write down. Then I put it here, free.

Where this goes

Being straight with you about what this is and what it becomes.

The tools above, and the emails

Everything I've worked out, written down properly. No gate, no catch. This is most of what I know and it'll stay free.

Available now · paid

I'll build it with you

If you've read the tools, tried it, and you're stuck — I take on a small number of businesses to build the thing properly. Usually agencies and solo founders drowning in admin. Cardiff and South Wales in person, anywhere else over a call.

Later

A proper course

Six weeks, taking you from "I use ChatGPT sometimes" to running your own AI setup that improves itself. It'll happen when I've built enough of these for other people to know exactly what to teach — not before.

Want a hand with something?

Message me on Instagram — @ai_with_tom_. Tell me what's eating your week and I'll tell you honestly whether it's a twenty-minute fix you can do yourself or something worth paying for.

Genuinely — most of the time it's the first one, and I'll say so.

Questions

Do I need to be technical?

No. That's the entire point. Everything here works in ChatGPT, Claude or whatever you already use — copy, paste, done. If you can send an email you can use all of it. Nothing needs an app, a subscription or a terminal.

Is this actually free, or free-until-the-good-bit?

Actually free. Every tool is complete — nothing important is held back for a paid version. I'd rather you get the thing working and remember who gave it to you than half-work and feel sold to.

What'll you email me?

What I built that week and whether it worked. New tools when I make them. Occasionally something that went badly wrong, because that's usually more useful. If I've nothing worth saying I won't send anything.

Which AI should I be using?

The one you've already got. Honestly. People spend weeks choosing a tool and no time learning to brief it properly — and the briefing is where nearly all the difference is. Start with The Business Brain and you'll get more out of whatever you're using now.

Do you use AI to write this?

Not for the content, no. I build with AI constantly and I'll show you exactly how — but what you read here is mine, and the videos are real screens and real problems. There's enough AI-generated filler about AI already.
